Covered Insurances

We aim to obtain as many covered insurance groups as possible for patrons of San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties. Although cash based pricing is optimal we understand that most patients pay a lot in insurance care and would like to have something to show for this. Not all services we provide may be covered by the insurances below. This will be detailed prior to your visit with your online paperwork. In lieu of your insurance whether there is coverage or not you can use your FSA/HSA card as well.

Our list of contracted insurances is ever growing and may not be posted on the website. Please feel free to contact us to help determine your eligibility.

Veterans Affairs

We proudly care to serve our men and women of the armed services and are contracted through your Veterans Medical Centers. You can request a referral and indicate the clinic name and phone number to obtain a referral. Although the VA does have acupuncture in-house it is often delayed significantly. We can typically get our approved retired veterans onto our schedule within the week of receiving your approved referral. At the current time, all modalities provided within this clinic are approved for care and coverage.

Workers Compensation

We are currently in multiple workers compensation groups. Some of your work facilities may have referred to us by name in obtaining care or your Union may have indicated our facility for care. We serve to provide appropriate acupuncture care to get to the root of the mechanism of injury, provide customized stretches and exercises in order to improve your overall condition as quickly and as soon as possible. Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Optum & American Specialty Health

Optum typically works through United Healthcare as well as other subsidiary insurances which may have coverage in our network.

American Specialty Health (ASH) has multiple insurances as well that are under its umbrella of services for acupuncture care.

Both insurance groups do not cover cupping, Tui Na active muscle release, exercise therapy, or therapeutic stretches. This is provided to the patient at a discounted price in order to help the patient determine if this is an added service they would like. The benefits of these add on services is that it provides a multiple method and home based policy of care that helps you improve your condition faster.
